Live Production

 Live productions are their own beast. Since my implementation of live video, the video production team has managed all aspects end-to-end. This means that we ensure we have the appropriate gear and personnel to cover whatever the audience demands. Full remote production? Hybrid model? Hybrid presenter model? Do we need video assets beforehand integrated into the production? All of these are questions we need to determine beforehand, on top of the physical aspect. My job is to make sure we have appropriate cable runs, show timing is perfected, technical direction is set, and which method of delivery we’ll be using to broadcast out to our watchers. I have planned, developed, and directed live conferences and shows featuring guest speakers such as: Magic Johnson, Fred Gray, and Academy Award winning actress Marlee Matlin. All of this was done while managing live interactive viewership within the thousands.
